Gender inequality

Consider the following sentences and tell whether they are for boys or girls.
1. don't move out of the house after dark
2. don't cry
3. you have to help your dad in business
4. you aren't going alone anywhere

I'm sure of your answers. Stereotypical people we are, aren't we? No matter how much advanced we become, still our happiness is different when a boy is born in the family. The moment he's born his destiny is decided and role is assigned.
On the contrary, girls are welcomed differently or in most cases they aren't welcomed at all. Some are killed in the womb, while others are considered as an expense.
In case of a boy there are great celebrations, family name is said to pass on.
Even if the girl does everything as that of a boy, she will still be a victim of inequality.
Intentionally or unintentionally we all have created such inequalities. No one is born inferior, its we who make them timid. Who says girls are less hardworking than boys? Its just that they are less rewarded. India has given birth to women who have created their impressions all over the world yet there is a world where they are confined to 4 walls.
Have a look.
